NaviGate™ Announces Platinum Sponsorship to Support NCS4 Annual Conference

Dec. 17, 2010

NaviGate™ by Lauren Innovations, a web-based critical information system for safety and security purposes, has become a Platinum Sponsor of the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS4) Conference set for Aug. 2-4 at the Roosevelt Hotel in New Orleans.

NaviGate is a Platinum Sponsor and, as such, supports the mission of the NCS4, which was created to provide an interdisciplinary academic environment to further increase sport security awareness, improve sport security policies and procedures and enhance emergency response through evacuation, recovery operations and crowd management training. As a part of this sponsorship NaviGate will be hosting the conference Welcome Reception to be held Tuesday, Aug. 2 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm in the exhibitor hall.

NaviGate began as a resource to provide vital information to first responders, including floor plans, response plans, call lists, videos, photos and locations of hazardous materials, among other documents. While emergency management is still an important component of the system’s functionality, it is now fully integrated to also include incident management, document management and learning management systems. Together, NaviGate’s modules provide actionable data that can be used to enhance security, safety, compliance and efficiency in an easy-to-use, web-based format.

The NCS4 Conference is set to bring together a wide range of sports venue operators, managers, security and safety staff, first-responders, government agency representatives, architects, planners, educators, trainers and league/association officials. The conference theme “Sports Safety and Security, A New Game,” was announced by NCS4 Director Dr. Lou Marciani following the successes of the 2010 conference.

NaviGate by Lauren Innovations recently received an “exceeds expectations” rating in all critical areas as evaluated by The NCS4 at the University of Southern Mississippi. The report, which is published online at http://lab.ncs4.com, establishes the product as a suitable safety and security solution for operators and personnel at large-capacity public venues, including sports stadiums and arenas.

NaviGate by Lauren Innovations has been gaining momentum as the must-have product for any organization that needs to collect, manage, and apply their unique essential information through integrated document, incident, and learning management functions. Through controlled, role- and permission–based access, NaviGate optimizes daily operations and emergency response, with secure, instant access to information at any time, from anywhere. Based on its proven effectiveness, NaviGate has received SAFETY Act designation from the US Department of Homeland Security (www.safetyact.gov).
